Job Description

Quest Diagnostics is looking for a motivated and highly organized individual to join our team as a Phlebotomist. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood, processing specimens, and providing superior customer service to Quest Diagnostics patients. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of medical terminology, as well as experience in blood collection techniques. A valid Phlebotomy Technician Certification and a current CPR certification are both required. Responsibilities:

  1. Collect blood samples from patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Process specimens, including labeling, logging, and storing.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology.
  4. Utilize blood collection techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability of specimens.
  5. Provide superior customer service to all Quest Diagnostics patients.
  6. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor even in high-stress situations.
  7. Work well in a team environment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  8. Comply with safety and health regulations.
  9. Ensure the security of patient information and specimens.
  10. Maintain a valid Phlebotomy Technician Certification and a current CPR certification.
