- Safely and efficiently transport medical specimens to and from healthcare facilities.
- Ensure timely delivery of crucial medical specimens to designated locations.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and transporting specimens.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare facility staff and patients to coordinate specimen pick-up and delivery.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare facility staff.
- Accurately record and report any issues or concerns regarding specimen transport.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to specimen transport.
- Act as a representative of Quest Diagnostics, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to our mission.
- Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to specimen transport.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective transport operations.

Valid Certification/License: Candidates Must Have A Valid Certification Or License As A Medical Transport Specialist From An Accredited Institution Or State Agency.
Experience In Medical Transportation: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Transportation, Preferably In A Hospital Setting, Is Required.
Knowledge Of Medical Equipment: Candidates Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Equipment Used In Patient Transport, Such As Stretchers, Wheelchairs, And Oxygen Tanks.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Team Members Is Essential For This Role.
Physical Abilities: Medical Transport Specialists Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Patients Of Varying Sizes And Conditions Safely. They Should Also Be Able To Stand And Walk For Extended Periods And Be Comfortable Working In A Fast-Paced Environment.
