- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all testing processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise and manage a team of laboratory technicians and other staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed.
- Work closely with laboratory staff to troubleshoot any issues or errors and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the laboratory.
- Review and analyze laboratory data to ensure accuracy and quality control.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Train and onboard new laboratory staff members, providing ongoing training and development opportunities for current staff.
- Manage laboratory budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and techniques, implementing new processes as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to laboratory staff to promote growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities.
- Act as a liaison between the laboratory and external stakeholders, such as clients or regulatory agencies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the laboratory team.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Management Role.
Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Operations, Quality Control Procedures, And Regulatory Compliance.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.
Proficiency In Laboratory Information Systems And Other Relevant Software Programs.
