Lab Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Lab Supervisor to join the Quest Diagnostics team. Our ideal candidate must possess a great work ethic, excellent problem solving skills, and experience in the medical laboratory field. The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, providing technical support to laboratory staff, and maintaining lab operations. Responsibilities: • Ensure that lab operations run smoothly and efficiently • Monitor and evaluate lab personnel performance • Train and mentor new lab personnel • Maintain and update lab safety protocols • Resolve technical and operational issues • Oversee lab equipment maintenance • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards • Work with laboratory staff to develop and implement new procedures • Monitor laboratory supplies and order new materials as needed • Monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures • Prepare and review laboratory reports • Maintain and update laboratory records and documentation • Collaborate with other departments to ensure lab operations are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
