  1. Perform laboratory procedures: The Lab Associate will be responsible for conducting various laboratory procedures according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Ensure accuracy and quality: The Lab Associate will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of accuracy and quality in all laboratory procedures, including sample processing, testing, and documentation.
  3. Collaborate with team members: This role requires the Lab Associate to work collaboratively with other team members, including laboratory scientists, technicians, and administrative staff, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols: The Lab Associate will be responsible for following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
  5. Maintain laboratory equipment: The Lab Associate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment, as well as ensuring the proper storage and disposal of laboratory materials.
  6. Record and report results: The Lab Associate will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting test results, including entering data into computer systems and generating reports for healthcare professionals and patients.
  7. Provide exceptional patient care: As a representative of Quest Diagnostics, the Lab Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care by ensuring timely and accurate testing and demonstrating compassion and professionalism towards patients.
  8. Stay updated on industry standards: The Lab Associate will be responsible for staying informed on new laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment, and implementing them as necessary to maintain the highest level of service and quality.
  9. Maintain inventory: The Lab Associate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of laboratory materials and supplies, and ordering as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  10. Adhere to company policies: The Lab Associate will be responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality, data protection, and code of conduct, to maintain the integrity and reputation of Quest Diagnostics.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Clinical Or Diagnostic Laboratory.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety And Regulatory Requirements, Including Clia And Osha Guidelines.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Analyze Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Colleagues And Healthcare Professionals.
