Histotechnologist

We are currently looking for an experienced Histotechnologist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping our patients, as well as the meticulous skillset needed to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Our Histotechnologist must possess a strong knowledge of histology and histological techniques, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.In this role, you will be responsible for processing and preparing tissue specimens for examination by pathologists. You will also be responsible for embedding tissue samples into paraffin blocks, cutting paraffin blocks, and staining slides for microscopic examination.We are looking for a candidate with an Associate's Degree in Histotechnology or a related field, at least one year of experience in histology, and a valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
