- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently in accordance with established protocols and quality control standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Review and verify test results for accuracy, completeness, and validity.
- Report any abnormalities or unexpected results to the appropriate medical staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed and adhere to all documentation and reporting guidelines.
- Follow established safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field: A Dlo Night Shift Mls/Mlt I Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field, Such As Biology Or Chemistry. This Education Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Laboratory Tests Accurately And Efficiently.
American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Certification: Most Employers, Including Quest Diagnostics, Require Mls/Mlt Candidates To Have Ascp Certification. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Standards Set By The Professional Organization And Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Perform Laboratory Tests.
Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting: A Dlo Night Shift Mls/Mlt I Should Have Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory, Preferably In A Night Shift Setting. This Experience Helps The Candidate Understand The Unique Challenges And Demands Of Working During The Night, Including Managing Multiple Tasks And Working Independently.
