  1. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of bio-analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with instruments to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
  3. Keep detailed records of maintenance and calibration activities to comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  4. Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth operation of instruments and troubleshoot any potential issues or errors.
  5. Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in bio-analytical instruments and implement them in the laboratory to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Identify and recommend improvements in instrument maintenance processes to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to order necessary parts and schedule maintenance services.
  9. Train and mentor new technicians on instrument maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  10. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines, to maintain compliance and uphold quality standards.
  12. Act as a technical resource for laboratory staff and provide support for instrument-related questions or concerns.
  13. Collaborate with research and development team to test and validate new instruments and methods.
  14. Maintain inventory of instrument supplies and reagents, and place orders as needed.
  15. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Bio-Analytical Instruments, Such As Mass Spectrometers, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (Hplc) Systems, And Gas Chromatography (Gc) Systems.

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Experience With Handling Hazardous Materials.

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Guidelines, Such As Fda And Clia, And Experience With Maintaining Compliance In A Laboratory Setting.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Diagnose And Resolve Technical Issues With Bio-Analytical Instruments.
