Job Description

Qualcomm is looking for an experienced and motivated Sr. Windows Developer - Debugger to join its world-class development team. In this role, you will be using your expertise in debugging and development on the Windows platform to help us continue pushing the boundaries of innovation. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and driven problem solver who is excited to create a better future with us.To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience in Windows development and debugging, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Knowledge of Windows application and device driver development (user and kernel mode) and a proven track record of software debugging and troubleshooting will be an added advantage. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. If you are a proactive, self-starter who is excited to join a leading-edge team, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Windows applications and device drivers for both user and kernel mode.
  2. Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
  3. Analyze and evaluate existing software systems and suggest improvements.
  4. Maintain and enhance current Windows development processes.
  5. Plan and execute complex projects with competing deadlines.
  6. Monitor and document software performance.
  7. Research and stay up-to-date on emerging Windows technologies.
  8. Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders.
  9. Share best practices and mentor junior developers.
