  1. Develop and execute test plans for modem functionality and performance testing.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues in wireless technology.
  3. Utilize various testing tools and methodologies to validate and verify modem functionality.
  4. Identify and propose solutions for improving modem performance and efficiency.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies and industry trends to ensure the development of cutting-edge products.
  6. Provide technical expertise and support to team members and other departments.
  7. Document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  8. Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
  9. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  10. Mentor and guide junior engineers in modem testing best practices and techniques.
  11. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely product releases.
  13. Collaborate with product teams to understand customer needs and develop testing strategies accordingly.
  14. Proactively identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Modem Sanity Testing: A Senior Engineer Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Modem Sanity Testing, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Executing Complex Test Cases And Identifying And Troubleshooting Issues In A Timely Manner.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Wireless Communication Protocols: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Wireless Communication Protocols Such As Lte, 5G, And Wi-Fi, And Should Be Able To Design And Execute Test Cases To Validate Modem Functionality And Performance.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Automation: As A Senior Engineer, The Ability To Write Scripts And Automate Test Cases Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, Perl Or C++, And Should Have Experience With Automated Testing Tools.

  • Familiarity With Qualcomm Chipset And Tools: As A Leading Manufacturer Of Chipsets, Qualcomm Expects Its Senior Engineers To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Qualcomm's Chipset Architecture And Tools. This Includes Familiarity With Qpst, Qxdm, And Qcat.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Engineer Should Be A Critical Thinker With Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Patterns, And Troubleshoot Issues To Provide Solutions And Recommendations For Improvements.
