  1. Design and develop high-performance integrated circuits for a variety of applications.
  2. Create and implement layout strategies for mixed-signal designs.
  3. Utilize industry standard tools and techniques to produce high-quality layouts.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability standards.
  5. Conduct layout reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mixed-signal layout design.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any layout-related issues.
  8. Work closely with the design and verification teams to ensure successful tape-out and production.
  9. Mentor and train junior layout engineers on best practices and techniques.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation and records of layout designs.
  11. Continuously improve and optimize layout processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  12. Adhere to company and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  13. Identify and suggest improvements for design and layout methodologies.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on layout progress and any potential issues.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Mixed-Signal Layout Design: A Mixed-Signal Senior Layout Engineer At Qualcomm Should Have A Strong Background In Designing Analog And Digital Circuits, As Well As Experience In Integrating Them Into A Single Layout.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Layout Tools: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Using Industry-Standard Layout Tools Such As Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics Calibre, And Synopsys Custom Compiler.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Cmos Process Technology: Qualcomm Is A Leader In Semiconductor Technology And Expects Its Senior Layout Engineers To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cmos Process Technology And Its Impact On Layout Design.

  • Experience With High-Speed And Low-Power Designs: Qualcomm’s Products Often Require High-Speed And Low-Power Designs, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing Layouts For These Types Of Circuits.

  • Strong Team Collaboration And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Layout Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead And Collaborate With A Team Of Engineers, As Well As Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Excellent Communication, Organization, And Project Management Skills Are Essential For This Role.
