  1. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for self-driving vehicles.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our autonomous driving systems.
  3. Research and explore new techniques and methods in machine learning to improve our algorithms.
  4. Analyze and evaluate data to improve the performance and accuracy of our models.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues with machine learning systems.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machine learning and apply them to our projects.
  7. Communicate and present technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  9. Work closely with software engineers and data scientists to optimize machine learning models for deployment.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  11. Document and maintain code, algorithms, and experiments for future reference.
  12. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to incorporate their technologies into our systems.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert in machine learning for the team and provide guidance and mentorship to junior members.
  14. Take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  15. Continuously improve and enhance existing machine learning systems and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Machine Learning Algorithms And Techniques: A Machine Learning Engineer At Qualcomm Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Machine Learning Algorithms And Techniques, Including Supervised And Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, And Natural Language Processing. They Should Also Be Familiar With Popular Machine Learning Frameworks Such As Tensorflow, Pytorch, And Keras.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Commonly Used In Machine Learning, Such As Python, Java, And C++. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Manipulation And Analysis Using Tools Like Numpy And Pandas.

  • Experience With Planning And Control Systems: As This Role Involves Working On Autonomous Driving Technology, Candidates Should Have Experience With Planning And Control Systems. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Motion Planning, Trajectory Optimization, And Control Theory.

  • Familiarity With Sensor Data Processing: A Machine Learning Engineer At Qualcomm Should Have Experience With Processing Sensor Data From Various Sources, Such As Lidar, Radar, And Cameras. They Should Also Be Familiar With Sensor Fusion Techniques To Combine Data From Multiple Sensors For Better Accuracy.
