  1. Develop and implement effective policies to protect Qualcomm's valuable intellectual property.
  2. Work closely with legal and business teams to identify and address potential risks related to intellectual property.
  3. Provide guidance and advice on intellectual property matters to internal stakeholders.
  4. Stay updated on changes and developments in patent and copyright law and advise on their potential impact on Qualcomm.
  5. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision making and policy development.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in intellectual property policies and practices.
  7. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing policies and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs on intellectual property policies and best practices.
  9. Manage and oversee any legal disputes or challenges related to intellectual property policies.
  10. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  11. Represent Qualcomm in external meetings and discussions related to intellectual property policies.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to intellectual property.
  13. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in intellectual property policy development and implementation.
  14. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  15. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of intellectual property policies and any related legal matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School With A Focus On Intellectual Property Law.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing As An Intellectual Property Attorney, Preferably In A Large Technology Company Or Law Firm.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Patent, Trademark, And Copyright Law, As Well As International Ip Laws And Regulations.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise On Complex Ip Matters.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Legal Advice To Senior Management.
