Job Description

The Director, Export And Sanctions Compliance at Qualcomm is a highly impactful role, responsible for driving the company's global compliance with export and sanctions regulations. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated global leader with an in-depth knowledge of export and sanctions regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with international stakeholders.Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a related field, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. Experience in developing and implementing export and sanctions compliance programs is highly desirable. The ideal candidate must have the ability to think strategically, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement export and sanctions compliance programs.
  2. Monitor and assess compliance with export and sanctions regulations.
  3. Analyze and resolve potential export and sanctions violations.
  4. Liaise with international stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  5. Maintain and update policies and procedures related to export and sanctions law.
  6. Advise internal stakeholders on export and sanctions regulations.
  7. Identify and assess potential risks associated with export and sanctions laws.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies and other regulatory bodies.
  9. Provide guidance and support to the organization’s international operations.
  10. Develop and execute training programs related to export and sanctions compliance.
