  1. Develop and implement financial strategies for managing cloud costs, including budget forecasting, cost optimization, and cost-saving initiatives.
  2. Monitor and analyze cloud usage and costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their cloud usage and provide cost-saving recommendations and solutions.
  4. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure compliance with budget and financial goals.
  5. Develop and maintain financial reporting and dashboards to track cloud costs and provide insights to stakeholders.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud cost management and recommend improvements to our current processes.
  7. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate cloud service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  8. Identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities to improve cloud cost management processes.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure proper allocation of cloud resources and cost accuracy.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to educate and promote best practices for managing cloud costs.
  11. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud services and technologies that align with our cost management goals.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud cost management, working with technical teams as needed.
  13. Continuously monitor and analyze cost optimization metrics to measure the effectiveness of cost-saving initiatives.
  14. Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to cloud costs and develop mitigation plans.
  15. Foster a culture of cost awareness and optimization within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Cloud Computing Role, Preferably In A Finops Or Cost Optimization Capacity.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud Infrastructure And Services, Particularly In Aws And/Or Azure.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Go, With Experience In Automating Cloud Cost Management Processes.

  • Highly Analytical And Detail-Oriented, With The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Optimize Cloud Spending.
