We’re looking for an experienced Treasury Manager to join Qatar National Bank (QNB) and help our team of treasury professionals develop and execute strategies to optimize our balance sheet and liquidity management, while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards. As Treasury Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and overseeing the liquidity of our bank, ensuring that we meet our financial obligations and remain compliant with regulations.To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of treasury operations, banking regulations, and financial risk management. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize liquidity and optimize balance sheets
- Monitor banking regulations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Analyze financial risks and provide solutions to mitigate these risks
- Manage cash flow, capital management, and short-term investments
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, auditors, and regulators
- Prepare and review reports on liquidity and financial performance
- Present financial data to senior management and stakeholders
- Stay up to date with the latest changes in treasury operations and banking regulations
- Participate in strategic projects and initiatives related to treasury operations
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the treasury team
