Senior Legal Adviser, Domestic Litigation

Qatar National Bank is currently seeking an experienced and talented Senior Legal Adviser, Domestic Litigation to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex legal matters, with a focus on domestic litigation. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the latest Qatari laws and regulations. The successful candidate must have: • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution• 6+ years of experience in legal practice with a focus on domestic litigation• Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision• Strong understanding of the Qatari legal system and its regulations• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent research skills• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance on domestic litigation matters.
2. Research and analyze Qatari laws, regulations, and legal documents to ensure compliance in all legal matters.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and settlement letters.
4. Represent the bank in court proceedings and other legal proceedings related to domestic litigation.
5. Develop effective strategies and solutions to address complex legal matters.
6. Monitor and stay updated on relevant changes in Qatari laws and regulations.
7. Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
8. Maintain accurate records of legal documents and cases.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
