Legal Counsel

Qatar National Bank is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking law and corporate law, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will report to the Head of Legal and will work closely with the senior management team to provide legal support to the bank's activities, both domestically and internationally.We are looking for a motivated, proactive and highly organized professional to join our team. The successful candidate must possess a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school, have at least 5 years of experience in a banking or corporate legal setting, and be a member of a bar association. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support to Qatar National Bank's domestic and international activities.
2. Draft legal documents, such as contracts, memorandums, and corporate documents.
3. Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
4. Provide guidance and assistance to the senior management team.
5. Work closely with the Head of Legal to ensure all legal matters are handled properly.
6. Monitor changes in banking and corporate law and update the senior management team accordingly.
7. Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the bank's interests.
8. Attend court hearings and meetings on behalf of the bank.
9. Work with external legal advisors and other professionals to ensure all legal requirements are met.
10. Maintain organized and accurate records of all legal documents.
