Legal Counsel

Qatar National Bank is looking for an experienced and motivated Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. As Legal Counsel, you'll be a key member of the Legal Department, responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, and support to the Bank's various business units. You should be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a legal environment. You should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues. Additionally, you should possess excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice, guidance, and support to the Bank's various business units.
2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
3. Research legal issues, draft legal documents, and prepare legal opinions.
4. Analyze legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
5. Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
6. Manage and oversee dispute resolution processes.
7. Liaise with external legal counsels and other external stakeholders.
8. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
10. Monitor and report on legal and regulatory developments that may impact the Bank.
