This individual must have an in-depth knowledge of local laws and regulations, and be able to identify and anticipate legal issues that could impact the bank’s operations.The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in law and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in banking and financial services, as well as the ability to provide strategic and practical advice, are essential for success in this role.We are looking for an individual who is a creative problem solver, and who is able to work both independently and as part of a team. This individual must be highly organized and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel to Qatar National Bank to protect its interests.
2. Stay up to date with local laws and regulations to identify and anticipate legal issues that could impact the bank’s operations.
3. Ensure that the bank is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
4. Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, leases, and other related documents.
5. Provide strategic and practical advice to management on legal matters.
6. Provide assistance in resolving legal disputes.
7. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external parties such as attorneys, regulators, and other professionals.
8. Assist in the preparation of corporate documents and filings.
9. Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the bank.
10. Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
