IT Coordinator/System Admin

Qatar National Bank is seeking an experienced IT Coordinator/System Admin to ensure the smooth running of our IT systems. The successful candidate will need to have a comprehensive understanding of IT, computer networks, and technical support. They will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.We are looking for an individual with excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. In addition, the ideal candidate must demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and display a positive attitude. The right candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in an IT role. Additional certifications, such as Microsoft, AWS, and/or VMware, would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and maintain the operational status of all IT systems, networks, and servers.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve any IT-related issues in a timely manner.
3. Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades.
4. Develop and implement system security measures.
5. Create training materials and provide technical support to end-users.
6. Maintain and update user accounts and access rights.
7. Research and recommend new technologies and upgrades.
8. Liaise with vendors and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of IT services.
9. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to ensure documentation is up to date.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
