- Develop and implement innovative and engaging course materials, lectures, and activities.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals.
- Conduct and publish original research in the field of organic chemistry.
- Participate in departmental activities, such as seminars, workshops, and events.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on research projects and grant proposals.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students and serve as a resource for their professional development.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making processes.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of organic chemistry through continued learning and professional development.
- Represent the university and the chemistry department at conferences and other professional events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote the field of chemistry and the university.
- Comply with all university policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department chair or dean.
A Ph.d. In Organic Chemistry Or A Related Field.
Demonstrated Excellence In Teaching At The Undergraduate And Graduate Levels.
A Strong Publication Record In Leading Peer-Reviewed Journals.
Experience In Developing And Leading Undergraduate Laboratory Courses In Organic Chemistry.
