  1. Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in organic chemistry.
  2. Develop and implement innovative and engaging course materials, lectures, and activities.
  3. Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals.
  4. Conduct and publish original research in the field of organic chemistry.
  5. Participate in departmental activities, such as seminars, workshops, and events.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members on research projects and grant proposals.
  7. Provide academic and career guidance to students and serve as a resource for their professional development.
  8. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making processes.
  9. Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of organic chemistry through continued learning and professional development.
  10. Represent the university and the chemistry department at conferences and other professional events.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds.
  12. Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote the field of chemistry and the university.
  13. Comply with all university policies and procedures.
  14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department chair or dean.

  • A Ph.d. In Organic Chemistry Or A Related Field.

  • Experience In Developing And Leading Undergraduate Laboratory Courses In Organic Chemistry.
