  1. Provide high-quality medical care to large animals, including horses, cattle, and pigs.
  2. Conduct medical procedures and administer medications under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
  3. Monitor and document animal health and behavior, including vital signs and medical history.
  4. Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasounds.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal enclosures and hospital facilities.
  6. Communicate effectively with the veterinary team and clients to ensure proper treatment and follow-up care for animals.
  7. Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner.
  8. Educate clients on proper animal care and treatment plans.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  11. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  13. Provide support and assistance during emergency situations.
  14. Contribute to the overall positive and professional image of the hospital.
  15. Act as an advocate for animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Veterinary Technology: Candidates Should Possess A Degree In Veterinary Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In The Medical And Technical Skills Required For The Job.

  • Experience In Large Animal Veterinary Care: Previous Experience Working With Large Animals Such As Horses, Cattle, Or Other Livestock Is Essential For This Role. This Could Include Internships, Externships, Or Previous Employment In A Large Animal Hospital.
