  1. Design and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that align with the program's curriculum and objectives.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  3. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
  4. Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
  5. Collaborate with other instructors and program staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.
  6. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and adjust instruction as needed.
  7. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
  8. Communicate regularly with students' parents or guardians to provide updates on their progress.
  9. Participate in program meetings and training sessions to continuously improve instructional practices.
  10. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress towards program goals.
  11. Adhere to all program policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
  12. Serve as an ambassador for the program and the university, promoting its mission and values.
  13. Stay updated on current educational trends and best practices to enhance instructional techniques.
  14. Foster a supportive and inclusive community within the program by promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  15. Continuously evaluate and reflect on personal teaching practices and make adjustments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Mathematics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Teaching Experience, Preferably In A High School Or College Setting.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With The Upward Bound/Upward Bound Math & Science Program And Its Goals And Objectives.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Students, Staff, And Parents.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Engaging And Effective Lesson Plans And Activities That Align With The Program's Curriculum And Objectives.
