
Senior Service Maintenance Worker

- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of campus facilities, including but not limited to repairing plumbing and electrical systems, HVAC systems, and building structures.
- Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including materials used and time spent, and report any major issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate and prioritize work orders and projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff by responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and materials, and submit requests for purchase when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance workers as needed, and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in maintenance and repair techniques, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades to facilities and equipment.
Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Building Maintenance Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Various Building Systems, Including Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And Carpentry.
Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Manuals.
Experience With Equipment And Tools Used In Building Maintenance, As Well As Safety Protocols.
