- Develop and deliver engaging course content for undergraduate nursing students, in accordance with Purdue Global's curriculum and standards.
- Facilitate online discussions, activities, and assignments to stimulate critical thinking and promote student learning.
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback on student assignments and assessments, and actively engage in student support and mentorship.
- Utilize technology and various teaching methods to enhance the online learning experience for students.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in nursing, and incorporate relevant information into course content.
- Collaborate with colleagues and attend faculty meetings to ensure consistency and quality in course delivery.
- Maintain communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns.
- Uphold academic integrity and adhere to all university policies and procedures.
- Complete required training and professional development activities.
- Participate in faculty evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Active Rn License: Candidates Must Hold An Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Iowa Or A Compact State.
Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Applicants Must Have A Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Clinical Experience In Obstetrics: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Experience In Obstetrics, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Teaching Experience: Prior Experience Teaching In A Nursing Program, Either As A Full-Time Faculty Or As An Adjunct Instructor, Is Preferred.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Students, Colleagues, And Administration Is Essential For This Role. Applicant Must Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Foster A Positive Learning Environment.
