- Teach and facilitate mathematics courses to students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Create and deliver engaging and informative lectures, discussions, and activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and revise course content and materials to ensure alignment with the university's standards and objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, exams, and other assessments to guide student learning and growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress, and submit them to the appropriate departments.
- Hold regular office hours and provide academic support and guidance to students outside of class.
- Stay updated on current trends, best practices, and advancements in the field of mathematics and incorporate them into teaching methods.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and trainings to enhance teaching skills and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, colleagues, and university staff.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures, including academic integrity and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to promote a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Assist with curriculum development and assessment as needed.
- Act as a mentor and role model for students, promoting a lifelong love for learning and mathematics.
- Continuously strive for personal and professional growth and development.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Mathematics Or A Related Field From A Regionally Accredited Institution.
At Least 3 Years Of Teaching Experience At The Post-Secondary Level, Preferably In An Online Or Distance Learning Environment.
Demonstrated Expertise And Knowledge In A Variety Of Mathematical Topics, Including Calculus, Algebra, And Statistics.
Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Facilitate Student Learning And Engagement In An Online Format.
A Commitment To Fostering A Diverse And Inclusive Learning Environment, And Promoting Academic Integrity Among Students.
