Purdue University is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Program Assistant, Lead. As the lead program assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and success of our various programs and initiatives.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all program inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Coordinate and manage program logistics, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging transportation and accommodations.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of program budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  4. Maintain program records and databases, regularly updating information and producing reports as needed.
  5. Participate in the planning and execution of program events, such as workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
  6. Collaborate with program staff to develop program materials, including promotional materials, agendas, and presentations.
  7. Communicate with program participants, providing them with necessary information and support throughout the program duration.
  8. Monitor program progress and evaluate effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  9. Train and supervise program support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance program processes and procedures, implementing best practices and streamlining operations.
  11. Represent the program and university at external events and conferences, promoting the program and building relationships with stakeholders.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the job, upholding the university's values and policies.
  13. Serve as a leader and mentor to program assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  14. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, incorporating new ideas and strategies into program planning and execution.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the program director or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Communications, Or Education.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Program Assistant Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Applications, With The Ability To Learn New Systems Quickly.
