- Collaborate with other faculty members to continuously improve the philosophy curriculum and incorporate new ideas and perspectives.
- Stay current with developments in the field of philosophy and integrate relevant and contemporary material into course content.
- Hold regular office hours to provide academic support and mentorship to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and faculty development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the academic community.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures regarding academic integrity and ethical conduct.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for students, promoting a passion for philosophy and intellectual growth.
- Contribute to the university's mission of diversity and inclusion by creating an inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, students, and staff, representing the university and the philosophy department with integrity and professionalism.
- Adhere to a limited term contract, completing all teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks within the designated time period.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Philosophy Or Related Field.
Demonstrated Expertise In A Specific Subfield Of Philosophy, Such As Ethics, Metaphysics, Or Epistemology.
Prior Teaching Experience At The University Level, Preferably In Philosophy Or A Related Discipline.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Interact With Students.
