  1. Develop and teach courses in nutrition science at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
  2. Create and maintain a curriculum that reflects current research and best practices in the field of nutrition.
  3. Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters, including providing guidance on internships, research opportunities, and professional development.
  4. Conduct and publish research in the field of nutrition, with a focus on staying current with emerging trends and advancements.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to enhance the overall academic experience for students.
  6. Participate in departmental and university committees and activities, contributing to the overall mission and goals of the institution.
  7. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of nutrition, incorporating new information into teaching and research.
  8. Provide academic support and guidance to students, including holding office hours and responding to student inquiries in a timely manner.
  9. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching, research, and service.
  10. Maintain proper records of student progress and grades, and submit required reports in a timely manner.
  11. Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
  12. Serve as a representative and ambassador for the department and university, promoting the program and its values to students, colleagues, and the wider community.
  13. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, including those related to academic integrity and professional conduct.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Teaching Experience At The Post-Secondary Level, Preferably In The Field Of Nutrition.

  • A Strong Record Of Scholarly Activity, Such As Publications, Conference Presentations, Or Grants, Related To Nutrition.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In A Specific Area Of Nutrition, Such As Sports Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Or Clinical Nutrition.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Support Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
