Job Description

Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical or Tenure Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. This position offers the opportunity to teach and mentor future veterinarians, conduct cutting-edge research, and provide clinical services in a state-of-the-art facility.   1. Teach and Mentor: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, labs, and workshops to veterinary students, residents, and interns. Provide mentorship and guidance to help students develop their skills and knowledge in veterinary diagnostic imaging.
  2. Conduct Research: Design and conduct innovative research projects in the field of veterinary diagnostic imaging. Collaborate with colleagues and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals. Secure funding for research initiatives.
  3. Provide Clinical Services: Utilize advanced imaging techniques to diagnose and treat animal patients in a clinical setting. Offer expert consultation to referring veterinarians and collaborate with other specialty services within the college.
  4. Commitment to Excellence: Demonstrate a strong dedication to excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  5. State-of-the-art Facility: Utilize the advanced technology and equipment available in our state-of-the-art facility to enhance teaching, research, and clinical services.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine (Dvm) Degree From An Accredited University

  • Board Certification In Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (Acvr) Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Clinical Or Academic Setting In Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging

  • Proven Track Record Of Scholarly Activity, Including Publications And Presentations At National Conferences

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Teach And Mentor Veterinary Students And Residents In Diagnostic Imaging Practices.
