  1. Organize and manage health information in a dynamic academic setting.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient health information.
  3. Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation and regulations.
  4. Process and manage medical records, including coding, filing, and retrieval.
  5. Coordinate with healthcare providers and other departments to ensure timely and accurate record keeping.
  6. Monitor and maintain the security and confidentiality of patient health information.
  7. Utilize electronic health record systems to enter, update, and retrieve patient information.
  8. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of new health information management systems.
  9. Collaborate with colleagues to improve and streamline health information management processes.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to health information management.
  11. Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.
  12. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Complete tasks accurately and efficiently within established timelines.
  14. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
  15. Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Health Information Technician (Rhit).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Health Information Management Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Coding Systems (Icd-10, Cpt, Etc.).

  • Working Knowledge Of Electronic Health Record Systems And Proficiency In Relevant Software Applications.
