  1. Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in aeronautics and astronautics.
  2. Conduct and publish original research in the field of aeronautics and astronautics.
  3. Mentor and advise students in their academic and career pursuits.
  4. Participate in departmental and university service activities.
  5. Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary research projects.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations.
  7. Stay updated on advancements in the field and incorporate them into teaching and research.
  8. Participate in the recruitment and retention of students.
  9. Serve as a role model and inspire students to pursue careers in aeronautics and astronautics.
  10. Participate in professional development activities to constantly improve teaching and research skills.
  11. Participate in the curriculum development and assessment process.
  12. Develop and submit proposals for external funding to support research projects.
  13. Actively engage in promoting diversity and inclusion within the department and university.
  14. Participate in committees and initiatives to enhance the department's reputation and contribute to its growth.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications

  • Phd In Aeronautics, Astronautics, Or A Related Field: Candidates Must Hold A Doctoral Degree In A Relevant Discipline From An Accredited Institution.

  • Research Experience And Publications: Applicants Should Have A Strong Record Of Independent Research, Including Publications In Reputable Journals And Conferences.

  • Teaching Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Teaching At The Undergraduate And Graduate Levels, Demonstrating Excellence In Instruction And Student Mentorship.

  • Industry Experience: Candidates With Industry Experience In The Aerospace Field Are Highly Desirable, As They Can Bring Real-World Knowledge And Expertise To The Classroom.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Position Requires Effective Communication And Collaboration With Colleagues, Students, And Industry Partners, As Well As The Ability To Work In A Team Environment.
