10. Stay informed about current trends and best practices in academic advising and higher education to continuously improve services for students.
11. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
12. Participate in departmental and university-wide meetings, trainings, and events to support the academic advising program and promote student success.
13. Serve as an advocate for students and advocate for their needs and concerns to university administration when necessary.
