  1. Lead investigations into potential data breaches and ensure all investigations are conducted thoroughly and in a timely manner.
  2. Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure adherence to data protection laws and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  4. Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability in data protection.
  6. Train and educate employees on data protection policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor and track compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
  8. Analyze data and identify any potential data breaches or security risks.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external parties, such as data protection authorities.
  10. Investigate and resolve any customer complaints related to data protection.
  11. Provide regular reports on compliance status and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  13. Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain data protection technologies.
  14. Ensure all data protection incidents are properly documented and reported.
  15. Continuously review and improve compliance processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Compliance Or Investigations Role, Preferably With A Focus On Data Protection And Cyber Security.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Such As The General Data Protection Regulation (Gdpr) And The California Consumer Privacy Act (Ccpa).

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Compliance Risks.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
