  1. Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and procedures.
  2. Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and drop-off of patients in accordance with their scheduled appointments.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including regular maintenance and upkeep.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff, providing excellent customer service.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the vehicle.
  6. Keep accurate records of transportation services provided, including mileage, patient information, and any incidents.
  7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  9. Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle, and provide any necessary assistance during transportation.
  10. Report any concerns or issues related to patient well-being or transportation services to the appropriate staff.
  11. Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with patients, their families, and coworkers.
  13. Complete any other duties or tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Transportation Aide At Pruitthealth Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Ensure Basic Literacy And Numeracy Skills.

  • Valid Driver's License: As A Transportation Aide, A Valid Driver's License Is Essential For Safely Operating Company Vehicles And Transporting Patients To And From Appointments.

  • Cpr And First Aid Certification: Pruitthealth Requires All Transportation Aides To Have Current Cpr And First Aid Certifications To Provide Emergency Medical Care If Needed During Transportation.

  • Prior Experience In Healthcare: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Nursing Home, Is Preferred For A Transportation Aide At Pruitthealth To Have A Basic Understanding Of Patient Care And Safety Protocols.

  • Physical Ability: The Job Of A Transportation Aide At Pruitthealth Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring The Ability To Lift And Transfer Patients, Push Wheelchairs, And Assist With Mobility. Applicants Should Have The Physical Ability To Perform These Tasks Safely And Comfortably.
