RN Nurse Educator

We are looking for an ambitious, passionate, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Educator to join the team at PruittHealth. Our ideal candidate should have a commitment to providing quality care and a commitment to excellence.The RN Nurse Educator will be responsible for providing educational programs to nursing staff and other health care professionals. They will be expected to develop and implement educational programs, evaluate educational outcomes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a high quality of patient care. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing practice and/or nursing education. They should be knowledgeable in adult learning principles and have a background in program development, implementation and evaluation. Additionally, the successful candidate should be a strong leader and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should be a team player who is eager to help the organization achieve its goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff and other health care professionals.
2. Evaluate educational outcomes and provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
3. Monitor and review current trends in nursing education and make recommendations for improvement.
4. Foster a positive working environment and establish effective relationships with all team members.
5. Provide mentoring and support to new members of the nursing team.
6. Prepare, present and evaluate educational materials for staff.
7. Participate in ongoing professional development in order to stay current with best practices in nursing education.
8. Monitor and assess the quality of care provided by nursing staff and take appropriate corrective action when necessary.
9. Maintain accurate records of educational programs and outcomes.
10. Assist with the development of policies and procedures related to nursing education.
