
Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA (Home Health) PRN

As a PTA, you will play a vital role in assisting our patients with their physical rehabilitation needs, promoting independence and improving their overall quality of life. - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform various therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' physical functioning.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and report any changes to the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with current physical therapy techniques and treatments.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and patience towards patients and their families.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other relevant meetings.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards patients, families, and coworkers.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of patient care.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and patient needs.
- Attend required trainings and maintain necessary certifications and licensure.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapist or supervisor.
Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.
Valid And Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapy Assistant.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Physical Therapy Assistant, Preferably In A Home Health Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.
Ability To Work Independently, Manage Time Effectively, And Adapt To Changing Schedules And Patient Needs.
