Job Description

We are looking for an experienced LPN Charge Nurse to join our team at PruittHealth. You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our team of nurses, ensuring delivery of high-quality care to our patients. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a compassionate and knowledgeable professional with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a current LPN license and at least 3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direction and leadership to the team of nurses in the long-term care setting.
  2. Monitor patient care and ensure delivery of high-quality care.
  3. Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  4. Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  5. Maintain a current LPN license.
  6. Participate in staff meetings and in-services.
  7. Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  8. Assist with the evaluation of staff performance.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality.
