
Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN

- Provide high-quality care to patients: The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in accordance with their individualized care plans and ensuring that all procedures and treatments are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a warm and welcoming environment: The LPN will be responsible for creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patients and their families, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments: The LPN will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring proper dosage, frequency, and documentation.
- Monitor patient's health status: The LPN will be responsible for monitoring the patient's health status, recognizing and reporting any changes or concerns to the physician or other members of the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: The LPN will work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and families: The LPN will be responsible for educating patients and their families on their health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records: The LPN will be responsible for accurately documenting all patient care activities, including medications, treatments, and observations, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: The LPN will be responsible for following all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy: The LPN will be responsible for demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, and treating them with dignity and respect at all times.
- Attend to administrative tasks: The LPN will be responsible for completing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies, as needed.
Current Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Current Lpn License In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required, Along With Completion Of An Accredited Practical Nursing Program.
Experience In Long-Term Care: Previous Experience Working In A Long-Term Care Setting, Such As A Nursing Home Or Assisted Living Facility, Is Preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Lpns Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Attention To Detail: The Job Of An Lpn Requires Attention To Detail In Tasks Such As Medication Administration, Charting, And Patient Care To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of Patients.
