Job Description

  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of facility painting projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  2. Ensure that all painting jobs meet quality standards and are completed within designated timelines.
  3. Provide guidance and support to the painting team, including delegating tasks and providing training as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to determine painting needs and prioritize projects accordingly.
  5. Maintain an inventory of painting supplies and equipment, and ensure that they are properly maintained and stored.
  6. Regularly inspect and assess the condition of painted surfaces, and coordinate touch-ups or repainting as necessary.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on painting projects.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure that all painting materials are properly stored and disposed of.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and make recommendations for process improvements or cost-saving measures.
  11. Assist with budgeting and cost estimation for painting projects as needed.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of painting projects, materials used, and work hours.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the overall appearance and aesthetic of our facilities through painting and other related tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Painting: A Lead Painter At Pruitthealth Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In All Aspects Of Painting, Including Interior And Exterior Painting, Surface Preparation, And Paint Mixing And Application.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Painters, So Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Supervising And Training Team Members, As Well As Delegating Tasks And Managing Work Schedules.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: Pruitthealth Places A High Priority On Safety, And The Lead Painter Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Procedures Related To Painting, Including The Use Of Personal Protective Equipment And Safe Handling Of Chemicals And Equipment.

  • Attention To Detail: The Lead Painter Will Be Responsible For Ensuring High-Quality Work Is Completed On Time And Within Budget. This Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Catch And Correct Any Mistakes Or Imperfections In The Painting Process.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Lead Painter Will Be Expected To Communicate With Team Members, Supervisors, And Clients Regularly. Effective Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Role To Ensure Clear Communication And Understanding Between All Parties Involved.
