
Hospice RN Weekend On Call

- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.
- Be available to work on weekends and be on call for any hospice care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the hospice physician.
- Assess and monitor patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on the hospice care process and provide emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of nursing practice.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the quality of care provided.
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
- Represent the organization in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Hospice Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospice Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of End-Of-Life Care.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Crucial For This Role As The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Providing Timely And Accurate Information To Patients, Families, And The Hospice Team.
Flexibility And Availability For Weekend On-Call Shifts: As A Weekend On-Call Rn, The Candidate Must Be Willing And Able To Work Weekends And Respond To Patient Needs On Short Notice.
Compassionate And Empathetic Attitude: Working In Hospice Requires A Special Kind Of Person Who Is Compassionate, Empathetic, And Able To Provide Emotional Support To Patients And Their Families During A Difficult Time.
