PruittHealth is seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospice Chaplain PRN to join our team and provide spiritual care to our hospice patients and their families. As a member of our hospice team, you will be responsible for providing spiritual and emotional support to our patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Theology or Pastoral Care, a certification as a Chaplain, and at least two years of experience in a hospice setting. The successful candidate will have an energetic and compassionate personality, a commitment to providing excellent service, and a deep understanding of the spiritual needs of individuals and their families. Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and their families.
- Demonstrate an energetic and compassionate personality while interacting with patients and families.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the spiritual needs of individuals and their families.
- Develop individualized spiritual care plans based on each patient's unique needs.
- Facilitate spiritual activities and services, such as prayer and meditation.
- Provide bereavement support to families.
- Collaborate with the hospice team to ensure the best care for each patient.
- Remain up-to-date on current trends and best practices in hospice care.
- Follow all ethical and legal guidelines when providing spiritual care.
