Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant

As a Hospice CNA, you must be compassionate and able to provide emotional support to patients and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing the best quality care in an environment that is welcoming and respectful.To be successful in this role, you must have a current CNA certification and at least one year of experience working with hospice patients. You must also have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Assist hospice patients and their families with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and providing companionship.
2. Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times.
3. Monitor and document patient and family progress.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best quality of care.
5. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
6. Maintain a clean and organized environment in patient rooms.
7. Stay up to date with new developments in hospice care.
8. Follow all regulations and compliance standards set by the state.
9. Manage supplies and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
10. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
