Dietary Aide

1. Assist with meal preparation and serving for residents according to their dietary needs and restrictions.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
3. Monitor and record resident food and fluid intake.
4. Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to plan and implement resident menus.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring their satisfaction with meals and addressing any concerns or requests.
6. Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of residents.
7. Adhere to all dietary guidelines and regulations set by the facility and state.
8. Assist with inventory and restocking of food and supplies.
9. Work as a team with other dietary staff to ensure efficient and timely meal service.
10. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards residents, families, and fellow staff members.
12. Report any issues or concerns regarding residents' dietary needs to the Dietary Manager.
13. Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
14. Continuously strive to improve the dining experience for residents and suggest ideas for menu and service enhancements.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or facility administration.
