
Dietary Aide

As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and has the necessary qualifications to excel in this role. - Prepare and serve meals to residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor and assist residents with their meal intake, ensuring they are receiving proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and storing food properly.
- Collaborate with the dietary and nursing teams to ensure residents' dietary needs are being met.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food.
- Keep track of inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Assist with meal planning and menu development, taking into consideration residents' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Uphold the mission and values of PruittHealth by providing compassionate and quality care to residents.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow all HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Previous Experience In Food Service Or Healthcare Setting Preferred.
Knowledge Of Basic Nutrition And Special Dietary Needs.
Ability To Follow Dietary Plans And Recipes Accurately.
