Dietary Aide

1. Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and individualized care plans.
2. Ensure all food is properly prepared, stored, and labeled for resident safety and dietary restrictions.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dietary and kitchen areas.
4. Monitor and record resident food and fluid intake, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
5. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff members to ensure resident satisfaction and address any dietary concerns.
6. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
7. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
8. Provide excellent customer service and care for residents, adhering to the company's values and mission.
9. Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.
10. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding food handling, sanitation, and resident care.
11. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents.
12. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the dining experience for residents.
13. Uphold confidentiality and privacy of resident information at all times.
14. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager or other supervisory staff.
