Dietary Aide

PruittHealth is seeking a driven and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team and provide exceptional nutrition services to our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a warm and caring attitude, a willingness to work diligently, and a commitment to meeting the nutritional needs of our patients. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are timely and pleasurable, as well as ensuring the dietary department is compliant with all regulations and policies.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. It is also highly desirable for applicants to have knowledge of therapeutic diets and experience with electronic medical records. You must also be able to successfully complete a health assessment and obtain a food handler’s card. Above all, you must be dedicated to delivering the highest quality of service to our residents.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines and instructions.
2. Ensure all meals are served on time and meet the standards of the dietary department.
3. Maintain accurate records of meal preparation, service, and nutritional intake.
4. Follow all regulations and policies related to dietary services.
5. Monitor food safety and quality control.
6. Provide assistance to dietary staff, as needed.
7. Ensure that all therapeutic diets are properly followed and monitored.
8. Utilize electronic medical records when necessary.
9. Complete health assessments and obtain a food handler's card.
10. Maintain a warm and caring attitude when interacting with residents.
