Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Valid Cna License In The State Where The Position Is Located. This Ensures That The Individual Has Completed The Necessary Training And Has The Required Skills To Provide Basic Care To Patients.
Phlebotomy Certification: In Addition To A Cna License, Candidates Should Also Have A Valid Phlebotomy Certification. This Demonstrates Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Drawing Blood And Handling Blood Samples Safely And Accurately.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital, Nursing Home, Or Assisted Living Facility, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Protocols And Procedures Of Working In A Healthcare Environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Cna Phlebotomist, It Is Essential To Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
