- Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients in a safe and accurate manner.
- Collect and label blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Follow established safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping of all phlebotomy procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort during the phlebotomy process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Keep up-to-date with new techniques and procedures in phlebotomy.
- Assist in training and supervising new phlebotomists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Program, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Nursing Care.
Phlebotomy Certification: A Phlebotomy Certification Is Required To Prove The Candidate's Proficiency In Drawing Blood And Handling Specimens.
Previous Experience: Prior Experience As A Cna And/Or Phlebotomist Is Preferred, Especially In A Long-Term Care Or Rehabilitation Setting.
Strong Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
Attention To Detail: As A Cna Phlebotomist, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Accurately Collecting And Labeling Specimens, As Well As Documenting Patient Information.
